Svea Vind Offshore's klimatprat is a fantastic initiative to give the public a broad perspective on what can be done to tackle the climate challenge. Klimatprat presents a number of people from different organizations, professions and political parties that all signal that it is time to take the climate challenges seriously, and above all, that we must act NOW!
Klimatprat has drawn attention to the fact that climate threats are the biggest challenge of our time and the importance of achieving change and reacting to it. Mine Storages CEO Thomas Johansson was asked to talk about climate, which he obviously gladly did.
Thomas has almost thirty years of experience from the energy industry, of which twenty-six at ABB. He was deeply involved in the development and introduction of ABB’s SVC and HVDC Light technology, led the sale of the world’s largest battery storage facility to the energy company GVEA in Fairbanks, Alaska, and has held several international business manager roles at ABB. Thomas now leads the company Mine Storage International with the vision of contributing to a sustainable energy transition.
